The history of the campsite
A professional retraining has little to do with anything.
Looking for a campsite to take over, I surfed on the net and discovered this municipal campsite in St Maurice de Gourdans, in the department of Ain, 1h15 from my Savoie, 35 minutes from Lyon and 1h20 from Geneva.
The visit of the site made me discover an exceptional setting with an incredible view on the river Ain.
It was love at first sight.
I took my sports bag, bought a caravan, left my family in Chambéry and started this beautiful adventure.
In 3 years and with the unfailing support of my friends and local craftsmen, I transformed this 4-hectare site into a 3-star campsite with 40 mobile homes, 2 swimming pools, a restaurant and entertainment…
